This'll make Link start at the entrance of the room. Once the fourth torch is lit up, immediately equip the Hookshot and Hookshot to one of the torches, falling into the chasm. To do this quickly, try to light two at a time by lining the fire up horizontally or vertically, although it isn't necessary (but recommended). You have to light all four torches in the middle of the chasm up to make the sealed door at the north of the room up. Place a block on the question mark with the Cane of Somaria and equip the Fire Rod. When you get to the first door on the right-hand side, ignore it and go up to the top door on the right hand side of this room. Once back here, use the Cane of Somaria again to make another block over the question mark. This'll let Link walk backwards, through the door, and back to the previous room. To avoid this, power up your sword and don't let go. There's a laser eye over the door, and when you look at it, the door closes and the eye shoots lasers. Avoid the fireballs and spikes and open the treasure chest to get the dungeon's Compass. Get off of the block and go south through the door there.
On here, use the Cane of Somaria again to make a block, and go left to the adjacent platform. Step on this block to travel across the chasm to the other side, and go through the door into the next room. Use the Cane of Somaria on it to make a block appear. I'd recommend that you fill three of your bottles with Red Potion and one of your bottles with a Green (magic) Potion. It'll tell you that you'll need magic potions here to survive. Once that's said and done, jump off of the cliff and enter Turtle Rock!Īs soon as you enter Turtle rock, go to your left and read the Sahasrahla plaque there. Stand on it and use the Quake Medallion to make the door to Turtle Rock open. You'll see an emblem matching the Quake Medallion on the floor in front of you. You'll be on a cliff above the entrance to Turtle Rock. When that's all done, a warp to the Dark World will appear. Equip the Hammer and pound them in in this order: Right, Up, Left. In the farthest eastward area from the tower, there's a cliff with three stakes on it.
Once that's all done (see the appendices for information on how to acquire that stuff), it's time to go to Turtle Rock, the seventh and final Crystal Dungeon in the Dark World! We're so close to Ganon we can taste it! What you need to do is get all the way up Death Mountain in the Light World, as far to the right of the Tower of Hera as possible.
The roaring excitement of fans and look of a full stadium was definitely a miss, but the lights, colors, costume, music, fireworks and of course, lighting of the Olympic cauldron by the incredible Naomi Osaka was a spectacular kick off to an epic two weeks of sport and action. Before heading to Turtle Rock, we need to do a few things. Although different, these opening ceremonies were a special moment in history to witness and something I will never forget. When it was all done, our photographers captured over 34,000 photos from the event.
Luckily, with our some of our proprietary softwares and the press plus network that we have implemented with local telco company NTT for these Olympic Games, our team was able to support and live edit the opening ceremonies with 40 remote editors and technicians from various locations around the world. However, this year, due to social distance guidelines, we had a team of 11 photographers supported by four additional people onsite.
We typically have a team of about 16 photographers supported by a team of 8 editors and technicians on the ground at the ceremony. Getty Images' set up for these ceremonies were also a little different than usual. You couldn't help but feel proud and excited for the athletes and for the Olympic Games to officially start, and the imagery we produced was a testament to that.Ī photo captured by Getty Images' Matthias Hangst shows s drone display over the top of the stadium during the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony. And despite there being less athletes in attendance, the pride and honor for their countries during the parade of nations was still so vibrant and infectious.
This year's ceremonies were a series of moments and elements that were truly very moving and inspiring and especially uniting for a record global TV audience. While last night's celebration was a different and more reserved spectacle than past ceremonies, these themes still rang through.
All opening ceremonies typically follow a similar theme - promoting the culture of the host country, celebrating the athletes that are in attendance, and showcasing how the power of sport unites us all.
The Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee put on an opening ceremony that was incredibly impressive, respectful, and fitting under the shadow of a global pandemic. A photo from Getty Images photographer Carl Court shows fireworks erupting during the opening ceremony.
